Welcome to the Paley Kids Network 

The Paley Kids Network is an organization dedicated to connecting Dr. Dror Paley's patients and their families to the local communities in the Palm Beaches. Hundreds of families temporarily re-locate to the Palm Beaches from all over the United States and the world every year to be patients of Dr. Paley’s limb lengthening procedures.  Their extended stays, including surgery and physical therapy, can last for weeks or typically 3-4 months.  Our volunteers are Goodwill Ambassadors who contact the patient’s families periodically to ensure their extended stay in the Palm Beaches is a low stress and actually postive experience.  Our community of Goodwill Ambassadors can become great new freinds to the visiting patients and their families while also providing a wealth of local information on events, activities and activities.  The Paley Kids Network also host trips and events like Family Fun Days and Beach Parties organized exclusively for Dr. Paley's patients and their families by the Goodwill Ambassadors (local commmunity volunteers).  Let the fun begin.

1. Share your story with a caring and compassionate new friend (Goodwill Ambassador) who lives in the local area.
2. Develop new relationships/friendships in the Palm Beaches community.
3. Reduce your stress by knowing a local resident of the Palm Beaches who can refer you to the local amenities & resources you are looking for. 
4. Lift your spirits while reducing your emotional burden through the power of a human connection.
5. Know that you are not alone in this challenging journey.
6. Attend fun events throughout the year such as Family Fun Days, Beach Days, Museum trips, and Zoo trips.
7. Learn about the wonderful activities and attractions available in the Palm Beaches and throughout South Florida.

Reasons to become a Volunteer (or Goodwill Ambassador) with the Paley Kids Network:

1. To share your caring and compassionate spirit to Dr. Paley's patients and their families while enduring a challenging period in their lives.
2. To provide a grounding link to the local community to Dr. Paley's patients and families who are far from home, family and freinds.
3. To reduce stress by being am empathetic listener.  Reducing stress will help the patient's and their families heal much quicker.
4. To offer emotional support during a stressful and demanding time in a family’s life.
5. To provide resource referrals – directions, information, support, accommodations – to a patient and family who are far away from home.
6. Organize events – barbecues, picnics, beach days, museum trips

How can you help as a Paley Kids Network volunteer?

1. Help out with our Special Events/Activities like Family Fun Days, Beach Parties, Movie Nights, Halloween or Holiday Parties, Moms' Spa Day, Babysitting Nights, Museum and Wild Animal Park Visits, Bowling Parties, or you can create and design a special event of your own choosing.
2. Become a Goodwill Ambassador and connect with the Dr. Paley's Patients and Families with 1 phone call per week to see how they're doing and to refer them to resources they may need in the area (restaurants, movies, shopping, places of worship, schools, etc.).
3. Join our leadership team to help plan and execute one or more special events and to shape & implement the vision of the Paley Kids Network.
4. Connect the Paley Kids Network to another school, club, organization that might be interested in engaging their members to volunteer.
5. Donate funds, goods, services or other resources to the Paley Kids Network.
